Georgia

For Memorial Day Weekend, Jimmy, Brayden and I went to Georgia to see some of our best friends who moved there this past December. It was so great seeing them and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit which seemed to go by way too quickly. They have a beautiful house and it was awesome to see how quickly they have been able to make Georgia their home.

While we were there we didn't do anything out of the ordinary which was fine by us. We got there Thursday night and Friday morning we thought about going to the Aquarium but it didn't work out. So instead we just hung out and toward the end of the day we went shopping at some outlet stores where Jimmy bought me my first Coach purse and wallet for my birthday.

Brayden loved having three other boys to "play" with or to really watch. They entertained him so much all throughout the weekend that I think it took a little bit for him to adjust to playing by himself when we got back home. The older boys all seemed to really enjoy having Brayden around too, except that Talon always wanted his stackable cups and didn't want to share with Brayden. haha

Here are some pics of us playing that first day:

Landon wanted to make silly faces (Payton was at a play date so he's missing)

Talon wanted me to try out his pacifier

Brayden checking out all the new toys and things he can get into

Once Payton was back, we loaded up to go shopping. We (minus Jay who was working) all squeezed into one car so Jimmy got stuck sandwiched in between seats in the back with the boys.

Shopping

And for those curious what the Coach purse looks like :)

On Saturday, we headed out to a state park *nearby* (Allison knows what the stars mean -- it wasn't that far away but it took FOREVER to get there based on the trip leaders :P ) because Jimmy's family was getting together to celebrate Jimmy's cousin's daughter's first birthday. Once we got there, we had a nice time visiting with Jimmy's family that we rarely get to see and Payton showed off his mad batting skills. :) Seriously he's pretty good at batting and I think it shocked the guy who decided to pitch to him.

The ride back from the park was much quieter than the ride to the park for Allison and I :)

On Sunday and Monday of our visit, we all just hung out at the house and in/by the pool. Brayden got in a pool for the first time while we were in Georgia. He wasn't too sure, particularly since the water was a little chilly but he enjoyed watching others play. We also went to their neighborhood pool and he was able to walk around in his pool float in the kiddie pool which was fun. And, yes his float is purple and pink -- I didn't realize I bought that color until we got to Georgia and opened the package so we just kept it.

"What is going on here??"

Still a little unsure about this

I guess it's OK but still not relaxed

Next day, swimming with daddy

He shoots, he scores! (actually he didn't score because he would not let go of the ball)

Walking around the kiddie pool

Playing with the water jets

And the grand finale, I'll leave you with a video of Jay and Jimmy. :) So silly. We had such a great time and we miss seeing our friends and their wonderful kiddos all the time but we are happy for them since they have settled in and found some good friends (who provided us all a great laugh with a tooth malfunction! :P ). Looking forward to going back and visiting them again at some point. :)
