Christmas was really fun this year with Brayden. He was really into Santa and all the Christmas decorations. On Christmas morning, we went into his room and told him that Santa had come and he was so excited. He quickly ran out of his room and into our living room where he stopped and looked around and asked where Santa was. When we told him that Santa came while he was sleeping and wasn't there he got upset. It was cute. But then we told him he left the toys that were by the tree and that they were his to play with at which point he made a straight bee line to the keyboard, by far his favorite toy. He probably spent a good 15 minutes playing on the keyboard before even showing any interest in any of the other toys.
After we opened gifts at home, we headed over to my parents to open gifts with them. Brayden got a horse and a tent at their house as well as a few other things. He wasn't quite sure about riding the horse on Christmas but since has gotten the hang of it, although he still can't get on himself. He definitely loved his tent hideout on Christmas.
I also got a very exciting gift at my parents -- a DSLR camera! I have been wanting one for quite some time and finally have one. I still don't know all the functions and settings but it is so great to be able to capture numerous good quality pictures in a short amount of time.
