Ski Trip 2015 Part 2

On Tuesday (day 2) of the ski trip was mine and Brayden's first day of skiing.  We headed out early that morning to go get our rental equipment and get the boys dropped off at their schools accordingly.  Brayden went to the big boy ski school for 4+ which I was slightly worried about because they didn't do any rest/naps and were on the snow skiing for 4 hours/day, but Brayden did awesome and enjoyed it so much.  Kyle was in the ski daycare and also really enjoyed it.  He would walk right into his room each day excitedly and his teachers were so sad to see him leave at the end.  Both of the boys' classes would ride the gondola up and down the mountain with cookies so that was a nice treat for both of them.

Brayden in the orange jacket at the end of his first day of ski school.  The first two days of ski school he was on the baby ski school magic carpet hill and then on his last day of ski school he was the only one in his class to graduate to the bigger/steeper magic carpet hill.  Then our last day of skiing he went skiing with me (more to come on that later).

I felt so bad that Kyle came home with a strange sunburn on his face.  I didn't sunscreen him because I didn't realize they would be outside enough at their daycare to warrant it.  We learned that day and luckily the sunburn didn't bother him and wasn't lasting.
