On Wednesday (day 3) of the trip, we didn't ski because Jimmy was coming in town that day. My parents and the boys and I went and walked around/shopped in the ski village area in the morning. Then the boys took a nap and waited for Jimmy to be dropped off. After Jimmy got there (yay!), we headed to downtown Steamboat for shopping. We got a few souvenirs like shirts and such and just checked out all the little shops. Then that night my all went to dinner at a unique steakhouse in Steamboat where you order your meat from the butcher and then cook it yourself (or if you are me you have your hubby cook it for you). :) For most of our dinner we had the whole upstairs of the restaurant to ourselves and our waitress was great with the boys. They also gave Brayden a cool saddle seat to sit in at dinner.
Steamboat is very family friendly and provides these red wagons in the ski village for hauling kids and stuff. Kyle was just chilling in the wagon as we walked around the ski village area. I think he was still pretty tired from the first day plus the fact that with the boys sharing a room they kept each other up A LOT and woke up REALLY early and started playing in their room. (not cool) :(
Kyle LOVED riding the buses everywhere. He called them school buses even though they weren't like school buses and he still talks about getting to ride the buses everywhere. I think he particularly liked not being in a carseat in the shuttles although that's not something he'll get anywhere else. :)
When we were walking around downtown they have this big horse statue thing so of course both boys had to "ride" it.
I forgot to take pictures of all of us at the table at dinner but here is my dad and Jimmy cooking their meat.
The boys enjoyed themselves
