We signed Brayden up for spring blast ball. Blast ball is a precursor to t-ball for 3 year olds. He loves baseball so we knew he'd enjoy it. We had a weekly practice on Friday nights and then his games were Saturday mornings. Practices were short and interesting. The kids attention span only lasted so long as the large, fun playground right next to the field enticed them to play. So, of course following every practice we played on the playground for a bit. Kyle also enjoyed practices because he got to play the entire time on the playground.
Brayden was very into playing blast ball. Several of the kids on the team were more interested in the dirt or grass etc but Brayden was always in his ready stance when the player was up to bat. Then when the ball was hit he and the other kids that paid attention would all run toward the ball inevitably resulting in a collision of boys after one ball. It was very cute to watch!
Here are some pics from the first couple practices. More pictures to come in the next post of the first game!
