Crazy Ice Storm

This winter has been such a harsh and crazy winter.  We've had multiple ice storms but the one at the beginning of December was a big one.  It had the city pretty much shut down for a good 3-4 days.  On the first day we stayed home with the boys, inside all day long.  The next morning the boys needed out of the house so we bundled up to go "play".  There's not much "play" you can do with ice but the boys had a good time just getting out of the house.  We had to make a modified shoe/boot for Brayden over his cast so that his toes didn't freeze but then he hobbled around outside just fine.  We also got to try out all their ski clothes for this winter.  Kyle wasn't a big fan of being all bundled up.

You'll see Jimmy shoveling our drive way in the back of the pictures.  Jimmy's company's Christmas party was that night in downtown Dallas and we were determined to go... another post on that to follow.
