Dentist

About a week after Brayden turned two, I took him to the dentist for his first visit.  He was pretty excited about going although he didn't have a clue what the dentist was outside of what I kept telling him -- a doctor that looks at your teeth.  We went to a pediatric dentist office by our house and he thought the office was pretty cool and didn't want to leave the games in the waiting room at first.  When we got into the room he climbed right up on the chair and thought it was pretty neat that there was a TV above the chair.  For this visit he sat in my lap and laid back on my legs for the dentist to brush his teeth and look at them.  For a kid who fights his teeth getting brushed every day, he did really well and didn't cry although you could tell he kind of wanted to.  But it was over so quick that he was fine.  After he got his teeth cleaned he got to pick out a toy from their prize area.  And of all the toys, of course he picked the biggest one they had!  He loved his big yellow color... for a whole week until my parent's dog popped it and it found it's way to the trash. :)
