Thanksgiving looked a lot like last year around here. We woke up and did the Double Oak Turkey Trot again (and again with a sick kid). It was pretty chilly that morning so we bundled the boys up in several layers, particularly Kyle, and put them under the bubble in the stroller. The biggest difference this year was that Brayden really wanted to run the race with us instead of ride in the stroller. Of course he couldn't make it the whole way so we had to battle his desire to run it with his need to rest and force him to sit in the stroller ever so often on the run.
After the race, we headed back to the house to get the turkey in the oven. Once again I did the Kidd Kraddick recipe for the brown bag turkey and it turned out great! Later that afternoon my parents and brother came over to partake in our Thanksgiving feast!
At the doctor. Sure wouldn't guess in this picture that he was miserably sick... Tylenol and Advil works wonders sometimes

Riding in the stroller and being sick wore him out... he fell asleep on the wood floor when we got home from the turkey trot while he was watching the Thanksgiving day parade
