On Kyle's birthday, we woke him up with a bunch of balloons in his room. He was very excited and Brayden was excited that it was little brother's birthday! We had a typical morning after the wake up and went to school as normal with cupcakes for his class to celebrate.

Jimmy and I left work early that day to take our boys to the pumpkin patch to do something fun for Kyle's birthday. The boys are having a joint birthday party later this month so I wanted to do something now to celebrate. October 1st was opening day for the pumpkin patch so we had it pretty much to ourselves that afternoon. It was a perfect outing for the day. We got to enjoy the games, had a snowcone (the boys' first) and enjoyed a hayride.

After the pumpkin patch, we went home and my parents met us at our house. We ate dinner, opened gifts and had cake. Overall it was a great day!

Kyle at 2:
Kyle is such a sweet boy! He loves giving out hugs and kisses regularly says thank you and bless you (when you sneeze). He is always concerned when he hears a baby or his brother crying. He is big talker and talks extremely well and a lot for being a 2 year old boy. He picks up everything so quickly. He can very clearly sing his entire ABCs and several other songs like Baby Bumblebee, Itsy Bitsy Spider, BINGO, and Twinkle Twinkle. He will just randomly start singing them and I'm frequently amazed at a new song he's picked up. He can count to 10 and knows all of his colors and majority of his shapes. Kyle loves imitating and doing whatever his brother does but also does his own thing entirely depending on his mood. He has a big stubborn streak and when he wants to dig his heels in watch out because he'll make it known real fast. We have always referred to him as "Baby Kyle" when talking about him with Brayden particularly since Kyle was born but just recently Kyle started saying back when we'd say that "I'm not a baby!"... and he certainly is not! Can't believe it! haha We love him to pieces and can't imagine our lives without him!
