Morning trip to the donut store one morning before school as a special treat
My boys :) Love them!
The result of two boys playing and colliding... couldn't believe the size of the goose egg he got. But, they were both fine and didn't really complain much about bonking heads.
Wanting to be like big brother... he didn't do anything though
We had a few medical episodes in August that threw the month for a loop. The first was my brother needing surgery and somebody to help take care of him the week my parents were on vacation. So, I took him for his surgery and he stayed at our house until my parents got back in town and then he stayed at their house until he was more self sufficient. Although it was not planned and we had to juggle some things around to make the week work, we actually really enjoyed having him stay at the house. The boys don't get to see him much and they liked having him there.
Waiting for his surgery to be done... which was an experience at a Parkland surgery center with interesting people there

Cute Kyle before his health episode...
Kyle came down with the evil, terrible Ear Nose Throat virus the week after my brother left and he was out for over a week from school. He had blisters all over his poor body and just like his brother ended up losing finger nails and such after. I have ENT virus :( Luckily Kyle didn't get it as bad in his mouth/throat as Brayden had so we didn't have a scare of dehydration. After the first couple days he was in pretty good spirits even though he still had blisters all over.

Also, in August, about a month out from him turning 2, Kyle turned around in his carseat!
